One of Hollywood’s most powerful couples, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have split.
Jolie filed for divorce on September 16, 2016.
The couple met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and started a relationship soon after. Let’s look back at their journey together.

Pitt and Jolie first met in 2004 on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The duo exhibited sizzling onscreen chemistry. Pitt was married to actress Jennifer Aniston at the time. (Pictured) Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in a still from Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
After announcing his split from Aniston in January 2005, Pitt took part in a photoshoot with Jolie for W magazine in July. Titled "Domestic Bliss," the photos showed them as a couple with children. Over the years, Jolie and Pitt not just grew as a couple, but also as a family. They have six children together — three biological and three adopted.
